About us

What makes Straightline different in Orlando?

Our own crews build the fences, and every product we install is made in the USA.

From start to finish, the people building your fence have years of experience and they understand what goes into a fence that lasts. Local landscaping requirements, soil, drainage and climate all change how a run should be built. Our team arrives on schedule, keeps a clean work site, and approaches each project the same way whether it is forty feet or four hundred.

We have built a reputation in Orlando as one of the top fence installation companies, and that is not luck. It is quality work and premium American made material on every job, big or small. We also offer 0% financing for 12 months, because a fence should not have to wait for a lump sum.

The showroom

Can you see the fence before you buy it in Orlando?

Yes, and we run a St. Cloud store you can walk into, which is rare in this trade.

Our showroom is on 192 in St. Cloud, a straight run down from most of the Orlando metro. You can stand a vinyl panel next to an aluminum one, compare a spear top picket against a flat top in person rather than on a phone screen, and see the real color in daylight. If your HOA handed you a spec sheet, bring it in and hold it against the actual product. That takes five minutes at the counter and it removes the most common reason an approval comes back.

We keep between $300,000 and $500,000 of material in stock at all times, which is why an Orlando job does not stall for three weeks waiting on a supplier. It also means that if a panel gets damaged a year from now, the replacement is in a building you can drive to. Most fence companies competing for Orlando work are a phone number and a truck.

Wood and vinyl

Which material suits an Orlando property best?

Wood for classic privacy on a budget, vinyl if you never want to maintain it, and it mostly comes down to how long you are staying.

Wood fences are one of the most popular choices with Orlando home and business owners, because they blend into any environment. We specialize in cypress and pine, in traditional privacy, picket, scalloped top and lattice topped designs. Cypress is resilient in Florida's hot, humid environment, which minimizes the rot and damage that come with extreme weather. Our wood fence installation page covers the trade between the two woods.

Vinyl is the preferred choice for a beautiful, low maintenance fence, and families wanting privacy without constant upkeep benefit most. We offer ranch rail, full privacy panels, semi private options, ornamental crossbuck and lattice topped. Titanium dioxide is used in the production of our profiles to keep the material from fading or yellowing in the Florida sun. See our vinyl fence installation page for where it is manufactured.

Chain link and aluminum

When do you recommend chain link or aluminum?

Chain link where security and budget matter more than the view. Aluminum where appearance, pools or an HOA are involved.

Chain link is cost effective and adaptable, suitable for commercial and residential properties alike. In Orlando it is used to define property lines, secure pools, enclose backyards and build large dog kennels. We provide galvanized and vinyl coated options in green or black, with privacy slats, windscreens and barbed wire added where a site needs them. Heights run from 4 to 30 feet. Because it tolerates strong winds better than any solid panel, it suits Florida's weather.

Aluminum gives you the appearance of wrought iron without the weight or the upkeep. It is rust resistant, which makes it right for front yards, driveways, pools and upscale properties around Orlando. We powder coat every panel for lasting color in the humidity, and it falls within pool code requirements while keeping a clear view of the pool. Our aluminum fence installation page has the pool barrier numbers.

What do Orlando businesses need from a fence?

Dependable perimeter security, and access control planned before the posts go in rather than after.

Businesses in Orlando rely on us for chain link around parking lots, schools and daycares, and perimeter security for warehouses. For commercial and industrial customers we install vinyl, aluminum and heavy duty chain link. Our commercial work includes builders like Taylor Morrison, property groups like Century Management, and a number of charter schools.

Automated gate systems bring security and convenience to residential and commercial properties alike. We install electric swinging and rolling operators designed for heavy use, and every installation includes setup, security system integration where applicable, and training on how to use it. Our automatic gate openers page covers why we carry LiftMaster and nothing else.

Coverage and process

Which parts of Orlando do you serve?

All of it, including Lake Nona, Baldwin Park, College Park, Winter Park and Dr. Phillips.

Whether you live in a new development, a historic neighborhood or a commercial district, we build to the needs of that location. Our fence company in Lake Nona page covers the architectural review process that governs most of the newer communities on that side of the city.

From the first phone call and estimate to the last panel, we are there at every step. After your free estimate and consultation we help you settle on materials, designs and layout, then we handle the preparation. Our crew arrives on schedule and a workmanship guarantee backs the work. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Common questions

What do people ask before they book?

Do you provide free estimates in Orlando?

Yes, regardless of the size of the project. We come to the property, walk the line with you, discuss what you want and give you a detailed written quote. The visit takes about half an hour. We flag anything that will complicate the job while we are there, whether that is a slope, a septic field or a neighbor's fence already sitting inside your line, because those are the things that change a number after the fact if nobody looks first.

Are your materials made in the USA?

Yes. Our vinyl is made by Catalyst in Tennessee, Bartow and Plant City, and our chain link is stamped made in USA. We do not stock imported vinyl, which is the thin product that fades, chalks and cracks, and which makes up most of what we end up tearing out two to five years after somebody else installed it. If an installer cannot tell you where their material is manufactured, that is worth noticing.

What happens if my property has uneven ground?

We build for it rather than fight it. On a grade a fence either steps down in sections or gets racked so the panel follows the slope, and which one we use depends on the material and how steep the run is. Aluminum and chain link rack easily. Solid vinyl and wood privacy panels usually step. We work that out during the estimate visit rather than on install day, because it changes the post count and the panel order.
